My birthday juz passed....
nothing big... nice and simple... juz the way i like it.....
went badminton wif frens.....
some said it isnt very "birthday-ish" to go badminton-ing on ur 18th birthday....
but, who cares.... i like it... n theres all there is to it!

well, actually the badminton thingy was pretty screwed up too....
juz the day before, Eiven came out with this random idea of going badminton....
I simply agreed to it....
Told Jun Guan, our ambassador to Permata Sports Complex.... he booked the court and gauranteed us a spot the day after at about 1-3pm....
later on some complications came up and the time was shifted to 3-5pm...
i forecasted 7-8 ppl to come....

on the day itself we went there on time, got our court n started playing....
after that slowly one by one start poping in...
5,6,7,8,9....... 14 ppl came!
n we only booked 1 court......
so the all of us have to share....

14 ppl, 1 court.....
pretty screwed up... already get my portion of nagging....
but it was quite fun too....the more the merrier rite?
at the end of the match, devided the cost among 14 ppl....
each has to pay RM0.75.....

oh yea.... n i also realise ppl share the same birthday as me....
so far i think its 2 girls n 1 guy.... i'm the one guy.... nvm that...


2 DAYS LATER...

Wedding of Gerry and Adeline

2 days after that was the wedding of my causin!!

This is the 1st time a relative of mine is getting married!! the 1st time i'm seeing the process of marriage... well mayb not all.... juz more than i usually see...(juz between us but for all the times before i only go to weddings for the food....) but this time is different! so much more different..... i was actually helping out there! i was at the counter-like thing where ppl check-in to get their table numbers....

i'll be like....

"Xcuse me, lu eh mia si harmeek?"
"[name of the fella]eg: Ah chong"
"ok, lu si che Table 26, the table on the right side of the ballroom.Enjoy (english came out of no where.. dun ask y!)

from there the cycle continues.....from one person after another.... it was quite an experience....

There was also the traditional tea serving ceremony!
n guess what?? its held at MY HOUSE!! hehehe.. my grandma here.... muz go serve her tea...
does that explain the baloons infront of my house...?

after that went Gurney Hotel for makan.... while eating, they put on a few slideshows of the newly-weds when they were young.... they were like together since secondary school!! same school that time.... OMG! i never thought relationship that time can ever work out... they proved me wrong.... waa... felt a bit envious.... but nvm....

After that i start to replace the bride and the bridegroom wif ppl that i know! It was quite fun at 1st.... imagining them upstage... cutting cake... pouring champaign on those glasses arrangged like a pyramid ...
AHAHAHA!! but after a while it gets scarys.... i'm afraid of my own imagination n so i stop... the day ends well and we all head back home....

I got diarrhoea...... waahh... too many good food at one time..... but atleast i had my fun....

Box Hunting

i'm currently looking for a box...
yes.... a box.....
nope... not juz any kind of box....
a box to put my things in.... my tools to be exact....
i wanna place all my engineering stuff in it.....
It'll be like The MarcusLim-Handy-Dandy-EngineeringBox!!!



from my soldering kit to all the different components that i'm going to store......
yes... they shall be in my engineering box..... fully equipped with everything may ever i need........
so the 1st step to owning my very own everything-oso-got-toolbox, i need the BOX itself!!

ok.... my ideal box should be big but not too big.....

i dont want to be dragging this to college everyday...

it has to be unique.... i dont want the same box like the one EVERYONE got from Tesco.... not that i wanna be special or anything but... the clip in the middle is not strong... so it wont last....things will juz fall out easily and i definitely dun want that to happen.....
That and to avoid bringing back a box from college and when i open it.....

The TOOLBOX has to be unique, strong and durable!

this is an ancient Japanese puzzle box.... strong durable and can definitely last more than 100 years(has a secret compartment too),
but how am i going to put in my components???
i will definitely have lotsa lotsa components....

when i say components, i meant discreet components.....
and when i say discreet components, i meant small components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, etc....

yes.. i need to keep them separately so they wont get mixed up n i wont have a hard time finding them when i need them...

but if juz get a box like that........
then how about my big tools like...... pliers, cutters, soldering iron, etc......?
they cant fit.....


erm.. it could work out if i had 2 BOXES......
one big one for the tools
and one small one for the components.....

The sun rises and then sets.... and rises again...

hey... i'm blogging again.....
well... i guess things are getting better each day! thats a good thing!
my holidays now feel like holidays.... hahaha....
juz like how mushroom soup suppose to taste like mushroom.....

before this, i reali had a though time getting thru each day....
i feel imprisoned by the gates of my house n chained to my computer screen.....
thats where i would be all day n not to mention all night....
i'll probably watch all the movies eric gave me in my hdd and by the end of my 2 months holidays, i'll be wearing glasses with lens the thickness of those found in telescopes....

but hey!.... things didnt go that way....
i have reali reali nice frens that will know how boring u r at home... n so we had a few outings.....
first there was the typical "go out for movie" outings, then there was the "go out jogging" outings, which then leads to "go out for badminton" outings..... and many many more.....

woah... these ppl are amazing.....
they sure know how to turn the frown upside down, pockets inside out(yes, i'm already overspending) and get ur energy bar from high to super low....
but nevertheless, i would gladly give away these petty ammount for the excitement, experience and well.. a life.... a smile on my face..... and for the stomach growling for hunger....

THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY
Chiao invited me for some party at edwards house.....
i got to meet the legendary Honey......
i havent met anyone that scared of me....
n yes i was offended btw....
but nvm.... i forgive u....
we had quite a night..... pizza, carbonated drinks, twistis,black-pepper chicken, mamee n NO i did not eat the wedges...
played murderer, tai ti, harry potter uno and bluff!
after that we went cc....
oung teach me play dota.... i suc terribly at it but i still enjoy playing it....
after that played cs till like 6sumthing AM.....

hooi wiping the mess he created.... i'll say no more....

YESTERDAY
we recently decided to go see the Sunrise and Sunset....

when we expect to see this....

we saw nothing becuz it was raining and we were at the "wrong" side of the island....
After that we decided to go jogging and then dim sum.... n for some reason, all of us couldnt eat much.... anyway.. we gone back home for lunch and nap....

after that go hiking again.... BJ hill hike no.2.... to catch the sunset.......

we were expecting to see this!

but at the end, we cannot see much cuz bj hill there too many trees covering the sunset area..... but the sunrise area is nicely cleared though.....

anyway.... although we didnt watch the sunset nor the sunrise.....however, we had fun... n thats all that matters i guess....

we enter each phase n exit each phase without reali seeing the start or the end....
juz like how we missed each sunrise but know its already past daybreak......


well.... there's always 2morrow......

I got back my PS2 WITH GAMES this time thanks to Kelvin.
I have frends like Oung, Ping and Chiao, who has apartment facility that i can intrude....

But still i feel so chained.....
I cant even sleep..... wait, i can sleep.... but keep waking up feeling like someone is going to kill me! waking up with this impending doom.... (impending doom....a recognition of heart attack.haha.argh. not even in the mood for lame first aider jokes... ) it wasnt a nightmare that scares me.... more of reality that is scaring me in my dreams....
